How we handle personal information for talent inquiries, productions, and visitors to velvetmodeling.com — written for transparency, not as legal advice.

Last updated · 18 April 2026

This policy supplements any contract you sign with Velvet Modeling. If a signed agreement conflicts with this page on a specific point, the agreement usually governs that point.

Who we are

Velvet Modeling (“Velvet”, “we”, “us”) operates as a modeling and media agency focused on developing female talent and connecting productions and brands with professional representation in Pakistan and selected regional projects.

This policy describes how we handle personal information when you visit our website, submit inquiries, participate in shoots, or work with us as talent or a commercial partner. It is written for a general audience and does not replace legal advice.

Information we may collect

Contact and identity details you choose to provide — such as name, email address, phone number, city, languages, height or sizing notes, and links to portfolios, reels, or social profiles.

Business information from producers and brands — including briefs, usage requirements, budgets where shared, contracts, invoicing contacts, and scheduling notes needed to fulfill a production or campaign.

Technical data related to website visits — such as browser type, device category, approximate region derived from IP, and basic server logs used for security and reliability. We do not aim to identify individuals solely from logs.

Photographic and audiovisual materials produced under engagement or submitted for review — treated as both creative assets and, where they identify a person, personal data subject to purpose limits below.

How we use information

To respond to casting, booking, and partnership inquiries; to coordinate shoots, wardrobe, and schedules; and to introduce talent where roles fit briefs.

To operate and improve our website and internal workflows — including troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and anonymized analytics where enabled.

To meet legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations — such as accounting records, talent safety obligations on set, or lawful requests from authorities when properly scoped.

We avoid secondary uses that do not match the reason you shared information, unless we notify you or rely on another lawful basis applicable in your situation.

Sharing with others

We share personal information only when needed to deliver services you expect — for example forwarding approved decks or reels to casting directors, producers, or brand teams involved in an active brief.

Service providers who assist our operations — such as email delivery, cloud storage, accounting tools, or payroll — may process information under agreements that require confidentiality and appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share talent contact details for unrelated marketing lists without clear consent.

If ownership of Velvet changes due to merger or acquisition, information may transfer subject to commitments comparable to this policy — we will give reasonable notice where practical.

Retention

We keep contact threads and casting notes for the period needed to complete engagements and defend ordinary business disputes — typically aligned with production schedules plus a limited administrative buffer.

Financial records follow applicable accounting retention rules. Portfolio materials remain until you ask us to remove agency-hosted copies or until representation ends — subject to licenses already granted for delivered campaigns.

Website logs rotate on a shorter cycle unless security investigation requires preservation.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards — access controls, secure transport where appropriate for digital transfers, and cautious handling of reels and decks shared outside the organisation.

No online or offline practice is perfectly secure. If we become aware of an incident that risks your information, we will assess notification steps consistent with applicable law and the severity of exposure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law — which may include frameworks in Pakistan or, for visitors abroad, regimes such as the GDPR — you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability for certain categories of personal data.

You may withdraw consent where processing relied on consent, understanding that withdrawal does not invalidate processing that occurred earlier or processing required by contract or law.

To exercise rights or raise concerns, email hello@velvetmodeling.com with enough detail for us to verify context. We reply within reasonable timelines unless exceptional complexity applies.

You may lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority where one exists for your jurisdiction.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our site may use strictly necessary cookies for functionality and optional analytics cookies if enabled — you can adjust browser controls to refuse non-essential cookies where supported.

We avoid intrusive cross-site trackers unrelated to measuring site health unless disclosed here and aligned with consent requirements in your region.

Minors

Velvet’s professional focus is adult female talent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate guardian involvement and lawful production safeguards where youth roles require minors on set.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. Material updates will be noted by revising the “Last updated” date at the top of this page — and, where appropriate, through additional notice on our website or email.
